Daniel 2:42-44

⁴² What is more, the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay. This means that part of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will be brittle. ⁴³ You saw iron mixed with common clay. This means that the different parts of the kingdom will be a mixture of different races of people,^[a] and they will not remain united to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

⁴⁴ In the days of those kings, the God of Heaven will establish a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another race of people. It will crush and put an end to all of these kingdoms, but it will stand forever,
